What is a Solid forklift Tires

is a rubber tire which is filled with compressed air.  It also called air filled tire
Most of the free moving vehicle have pneumatic tires, because they have excellent cushioning ability along with other advantages. The pressure inside the tires is more than outside atmospheric pressure.  So carrying heavy weight also the tire remain inflated.  Solid forklift tyre  have tight inner core due to compressed air.

Solid forklift tyre are sometimes maintained on the wheel through the utilization of beads that are shaped into the tire edges. The tire edges are placed in a formed channel on the wheel rim’s circumference and are held firmly against the channel’s edges by the pressure exerted once the tire is inflated with air.

Pressures vary from  thirty pounds per square inch for big, soft tires to around one hundred pounds per square inch for high-pressure, high-load applications. The pressure is carried by layers of cords embedded during a rubber cover that successively serves to contain the air, shield the cords, and provides high friction with the bottom. This felicitous combination is that the reason why Solid forklift tyre  so largely used for transportation. Over two hundred million of them are factory-made for automobiles alone annually, ninety % for vehicles and ten % for trucks.

Solid forklift tyre are designed to satisfy 5 main goals: low rolling resistance, low vertical stiffness, high sliding friction in each wet and dry conditions, high longitudinal and lateral stiffness (to minimize sliding motions within the “contact patch” wherever the tread meets the road), and resistance to wear and harm like cutting, puncturing, and abrasion. So as to attain these goals, tire designers should opt for acceptable mixtures of materials and structures.
